A year ago , a week before my mum died, I went for a walk to clear my head and came upon a beautiful nature reserve. The sun shone and I cried from the beauty of it. Following the path to a clearing I saw long gardens and decks leading onto a magical river with foxes and herons. I told my mum and Dave that I had seen a dream . My beautiful Mamma passed away last Tuesday morning. I was so grateful to be with her and to be her daughter. She touched and affected and even changed the lives of her friends and the people around her. I feel although her body was exhausted and had to go, she is still beside me as she promised she would be.

My beautiful Mamma passed away last Tuesday morning. I was so grateful to be with her and to be her daughter. She touched and affected and even changed the lives of her friends and the people around her. I feel although her body was exhausted and had to go, she is still beside me as she promised she would be.

I haven’t posted for a long time as I’ve been caring for my mum who is nearing the end with terminal cancer. I know so many of you have been through or are going through what I’m going through at the moment and understand. The support I’m getting is unbelievable from my partner of 10 years @davebarbarossadrums, my amazing friends and the nurses who are respectful, kind and patient with my mum. It makes you realise what’s really important in life. Nature, love, friendship and community.
